The ending of the anime..

What did you guys think of the ending of the anime?

I didn't really like it.  D:  they messed it all up.  I hearted the manga.

Common sense. There isn't nearly enough of the manga to make a second season - the producers would have had to wait five years for that, and Claymore is hardly popular enough to be one of those series with sequels that follow years later. That's why Madhouse attempted to wrap everything up in the most retarded way possible. You might remember that the whole point of the series was Clare going to kill Priscilla. In the anime she decided to forgive her and went on her merry way to a life of lovey-doveyness with her stupid Gary-Stu boytoy. There's nothing to make a second season about, even if it was filler, because Clare has no goal now, no reason to fight.
But let's assume there will be a second season like that - who the fuck would watch a whole season of filler now that we know that Madhouse can't write a decent filler episode to save their lives?

The ending of the anime was a bit of a letdown for me. I hope the manga does the Priscilla-Clare showdown much better. It could have been improved by Raki's death, though. *g*

Sorry for the Raki hate, but he's just not a very useful or endearing character to me, in the anime or the manga.
