[Kisame can't help laughing at the last part of Deidara's dream; it seems familiar and even almost nostalgic. The sort of humor he remembers indulging in with his own teammates.]
I wonder if our Hunters played with their prey like that.... Sounds like you had some pretty interesting friends. [He was only an ANBU, after all. Hunting seemed interesting, but he'd been happy with what he had.]
Why'd you need to get into a special class for that, though? Seems like Academy stuff, if you ask me.... [He hums thoughtfully--he never had gotten interviews with any professionals, or anything even close to that. Or, for that matter, special courses at all. Kirigakure's training had been universal, but subtler, more inclined to ingrain the implications than teach children these things outright, so perhaps he had been spared from any of his own psychoses being exaggerated too much.] Though I guess you guys did get a lot more attention and direction with it. We were just sort of expected to make those kinds of connections ourselves.

Iwa wasn't Bloody Mist, un. [Their Academy had been, as far as Deidara was concerned, boring. Not enough hands-on training. The lack of those interviews would have been nice, though.] I think the direction was the whole point, though.

Well, obviously. [Kisame laughs; it's not an insult, naturally. It's simply a statement of fact, something he had learned long ago that he should be proud of. Kirigakure was not only tougher than the other villages, but more honest, as well.]
That probably was the point of it, but.... Still, I think you'd have enjoyed yourself more in my Academy classes. Same basic idea, but less talking to boring strangers.

[Sasori feels slightly relieved, in that at least his partner is still alive....not that he doubted that Deidara was more than sturdy enough to survive.
However...]
You idiot, stop wasting my time when I have important matters to attend to.

[He sighs, and the harshness drains out of his tone.]
Really, you just love to make my life more difficult, don't you. Did you injure yourself with that foolish display?
Where are you?
