[ The feeling of dying, it must be: Pain knows that feeling, well. He is -- lest one forgets -- dying always, and living through death: through six corpses, and one rotting body, so when he sees (smells, feels, hears) the lightheatpressure and darkness of death, it is like a touch of home amid the pristine garden that is nothing remotely like what home ever was. ]
[Is intrigued, because he likes discussing socio-politically themed matters.]
I suppose I have little taste for art, given that my experience with "art" is that what is deemed so is dictated by the larger countries, and those who hold power, as a way of devaluing the endeavors of those who do not.
[He doesn't even need to pause to think about that.] Art's the explosion, un. But it's more than just a bit of pretty lights and sounds--fireworks aren't anything like explosives. Everything at once--everything all lit up and existing. But nothing lasts forever, right, so you have to pack everything--everything--into that one instant, that one perfect everything. Then nothing, un. It'll never happen again. That's art.

Yes. He's killed many innocent people and is part of a very dangerous organization that has recently arrived in this world.
*Pauses here as he seems to consider something.*
There's a lot going on right now... If you see anyone with one of these-- *He reaches up to his hitai-ate and wiggles it a bit with his fingers* --and if there's a line crossing out the insignia on the metal piece, then be careful. They're known as Missing-nins and are incredibly violent criminals who indiscriminately murder.
*Itachi stares at the screen, eyes slightly wide with the force of the expressive nature of the dream. But then, realizing who the dream is from, he realizes that it is exactly what should be expected. Deidara's art is his obsession and his downfall. He looses sight of all else when he is in its thrall, like an addict unable to stay away from their drug of choice. It is something that both annoys him and makes him envy the careless, reckless manner in which the blond lives his life. Then he remembers that Deidara's dead because of it and doesn't feel so envious.
He lets out a soft huff of exasperation and derision.*
Hn. It seems even your dreams provide little in regards to mental stimulation.
*Itachi does not bother to take the bait. He is not sure why he even turned on the video feature of the Hitomi, as he only intended to send a voice message, but it is too late to consider it now. It seems almost humorous how much loathing one word can be filled with, but Itachi is used to it, has known the envy and hate for so many years that his life would be unbalanced and lacking should he lose it. He is the barrier that many strive to surpass, the wall they can never surmount. And in some cases, he actually enjoys that.*
There is little to understand when comprehension is lacking at its very core. My only purpose was to validate Kisame's report of your presence here.

[ So amused, so very entertained, at everything that he's been seeing. It is due time that he finally reaches out to Itachi, even if he is certain his descendant is aware of his presence. ]
Always so entertaining to watch you two bicker, Itachi-kun.

Wow, that was kind of confusing. Do your dreams always make no sense?

What would you call "art"?
