In my random post yesterday, I neglected to mention the thing about work that's really pleased me as of late. I was an art/design major in school, and my job likes to take advantage of that. It's little things, but it really does please me

That's cool! I rarely get to use my international studies-ness for anything except for that they like to give me anyone that doesnt speak english well cuz i have the patience to help them... ^_^

but they have deemed me a Macguyver of the library, and its my job to fix random issues and invent random things from paper clips and duc tape for various reasons, which makes me oddly proud.

The sign isn't posted anywhere on the internets, but I have a copy of it. The map WILL be on the internet, but I just sent what I hope to be the final draft to my liason to the person who does the website, so that's not up just yet. But again, I have it if you want to see it. Really, they're nothing special. I just like them because I made them. ^_^

I could do that. :) Admittedly, though, I had old maps to go by when I was making the new ones, but I've also learned quite a bit from them.

Yeah, we have a bunch of neat stuff in there now, all for $2. It's ear buds rather than ear phones, but I couldn't find clip art of ear buds. There's also highlighters and pens and paper and hand sanitizer. Possibly other stuff that I can't remember.
