I think it's especially the proportions you got exactly right. Plus the coloring really sets the mood, and the facial expressions, YUM. Seriosuly, I wish I could make this my desktop without freaking my roommate out *g*

I actually looked at this the other day but had to rush off to work and couldn't comment... then I was always at work when logging on LJ, lol. But.. wow! That is gorgeous! I do think the lack of sharp outlines give it kind of a dreamy feel. And the colors are just gorgeous.
