Sorry I took forever to respond to this. I've missed ya, LB. How the fuck are ya? Married and everything? Damn. Time does fly. Are you still in the city? We should catch up sometime. I just got an email the other day from TC, who I also hadn't heard from in years.

I'm off to Hawaii in a few days for two weeks, so the jetsetting continues. Psyched as hell about it. Also seeing Gaga at MSG in February. I should compare notes with your wife ;)

Hello back. Have missed you but can easily understand. RL gets in the way of lots of things but sometimes it is pretty spectacular and worth it. I think you should look in your closet in the luggage with the most travel stickers (I know they don't do that anymore but it was fun when they did) and you will probably find the missing words there.

Thanks for the kind words about my travels. I'm actually going to go to Hawaii December 1 - 16 instead of Australia. Aus was too expensive and I couldn't adequately plan it in the time I had. I'll be doing cool excursions and stuff in Hawaii, but I'm sure I'll have lots of down time where I don't have to do anything. I'm going to bring a notebook for sure and hope that I can do a little writing. Not sure what about or if it will be fanfiction, but I'm happy for anything that comes.

If nothing else, notes on scenery, activities, interesting people, whatever comes up that will make excellent fiction fodder for a future time (forgive me.)

Nice to see you here again! Life is indeed a banquet, and I'm always happy to hear about you partaking of it! I totally understand the interest in Gaga. I had fun turning my sister on to her stuff this summer. She has toddler, so even though she's a cool, art-world New Yorker, she's a bit out of the loop, pop-wise. That's another stage of life that you'll find interferes with fandom. Follow your bliss, darling! If we can provide a tiny bit of that here, all the better for us!

However! I hope you and the fam are doing well and you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. How did I know you'd be a Gaga fan? I'm going to see her at MSG (again) in February. Is your sister going, too?

I'm going to post a little update in a few mintutes but December 1-16 I'll be vacationing in Hawaii. I have a layover in San Francisco. Was thinking of staying because a friend of mine was attending UC Hastings for law school, but she dropped out and came back to New York, so I'll be in the airport that whole time. When I do come back out to Cali (and I want to!) we're due for some hanging out.
