There was the beginnings of a heart attack attached to it because that's the only place I know of that still houses Kindred's fanfiction, which I love.
Yeah, I saw it, too. Probably the web hosting account expired, which means the site's still there, just not accessible. athenewolfe or whoever's in charge of the payments probably has to pay for another year of service, and it'll be back up.
*Phew* My brain was screaming "DELETED AND PURGED!!??" followed by sobbing. It's the only place I know of that still houses Kindred's fanfiction, which I love. That would be a terrible loss if it were gone forever.
Heh, it happens sometimes when the site maintainer gets preoccupied with RL and forgets to pay the bills on time. :)
And I am feeling better. Not actually "healthy" yet, but the doctor switched my antibiotic, so at least I'm not nauseous and puking all the time. I'm basically back to where I was before I started taking any meds at all. These antibiotics go until Thursday, so hopefully I should be fixed by then.
Well, that's news in the right direction, at least. Not puking is good, but still not being able to eat whatever you want leaves something to be desired. Here's hoping it resolves itself *crosses fingers*
My meds did do the trick. The cough has been vanquished! But, I notice that I sometimes have a wee cough at the office, but nowhere else. It occurred to me that I might be having an allergic reaction. They cleaned the rugs recently. Could have been something in the chemical stew that doesn't agree with me. I'm going to start taking Claritin with me and see if that clears it up.
Trying to figure out how all out I want to go on this menstruation meta. I could do general thoughts and impressions, but was considering taking a more academic approach and quoting a few things from books and the show. I'm caught up about how analytical I want to be. I don't want to spend too long on it, not when I haven't worked on my SS fic all weekend. Still, the meta has been consuming my brain.
Not sure why the sites are down, but Steph is very busy and Rae has been also. It's possible the domain name expired and will have to be renewed before they are back up. FF Awards is being handled through the LJ account this round. The website would have been out of date anyway. As far as I know, nothing is really wrong - just people with too many RL issues right now. The awards will proceed as usual, just through the LJ community rather than through the website.
