It was fascinating how Faith was trying to put Dawn in her place and Dawn shrugged it off with her millennia of experience. I'll have to give Pass all the credit for that one. She wrote the dialogue. When we were working on this, there was some speculation about how much Faith really knows about Dawm. We know that her memories are altered to include her, but since she was incarcerated prior to Dawn's canon appearance on the show, she wouldn't know any of the details about her past or Keyness, unless someone had filled her in during S7. We thought this might have been unlikely. So, Faith's going in a bit blind, which is what makes it so fun to get the great blindside by Dawn. She can be quite fiesty ;)

Well done. Not enough is made of Dawn's thousands of years of existence in one form or another. Nice melding of the knowledge of what she was/is with the brave girl she is now.

There was some speculation between us about whether Faith knew the details about Dawn in canon (we thought no), so it seemed liked a good opportunity for a more mature Dawn to use that part of her identity as an aspect of strength, rather than something that made her "less" human or somehow "other."
