Nothing terribly important to report, except that the desire to write fic has been a little stronger the last two weeks. only_passenger and I have been throwing some ideas back and forth, which motivated me to take a peek at my WIP folder this afternoon and see what's knocking around in there. Thank you :) I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the rather sad nature of the piece. Faith had a hard life, so imagine her shock of seeing what Buffy had and how she took it for granted.

Hm, I'm in need of Faith & Joyce fic. I wonder if there's any out there?

I agree sad sad sad but totally awesome and believable. Still I want to pressure you to write something happy for our girl. She can find happiness. I totally believe that.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked this, despite the rather bleak portrayal of Faith's early years. I'm an equal opportunist angst writer, so pretty much any character I get my hands on is in for a sad, emotional ride. The hardships are what I enjoy writing most about. That is to say that I don't have any stories planned in the near future that will be out and out happy for Faith. However, Faith will be a central character in my upcoming IWRY fic and I don't plan on putting her through the ringer on that. She'll get to be a hero :) My posting date is in late November, so if you want to check back then, you might find feel free to.
