This past week was another busy 5 days at work, but it was also littered with numerous post-work outings that included, dinner, drinks and scheming for this Friday's scavenger hunt. Wow, you've got so much stuff going on, what with the work and the fics and all. Sounds like you're enjoying yourself, though, which is so totally of the good. If somebody asked me I'd probably say that I'm not exactly a great fan of living on a hectic schedule, but then again most of the best periods of my life have been, like, super-hectic. I guess it's all about finding the right proportion between the hectic and the not so hectic times.

Pumpkin Festival sounds like so much fun. I wish we had events like that around here, too. *pouts*

Yes, things have been busy. It hasn't left much time for fandom activities. I often don't get home until 9PM and then I don't want to do anything at all. But the hectic really has to do with my nightlife activities. And if things get overwhelming, I can just stop going out. Totally in my control!

The Pumpkin Festival was okay. Not as cool as I thought since it was really geared toward children. It was also raining and incredibly windy. We only stayed for an hour. Still... cookies!

Thanks. I'm a little nervous about it though. The fic is so long and I just haven't had the time to dedicate to it. I might have to overhaul it and make it more the length I'm used to. I estimate it'll be 8000+ and that's loooong for me.
