Wow. It's been so long since Halbarad has been able to talk freely with someone he loves, he's forgotten how. A few moments of quiet conversation with Frodo about their... size differences... would have brought them both to a much happier resolution. But I suppose it wasn't a time for quiet conversation, poor dears!

This is an amazingly written phrase:

There was not enough of Frodo, not enough of his sweet pale skin to rub against, and not enough air in either of them to allow for him to stay locked on his lips in drunken bliss.

Awww...now you've made my heart ache for poor Halbarad...:-) And of course, wouldn't communication (proper) make it better? Poor wandering ranger, poor lonely hobbit! Thank you!!

Great stuff, Claudia. I printed out several chapters last night to get caught up. Frodo really is able to drawn them in, eh? Hence the name of my website - Moth to a Flame. ;-)

Oh, the hotness. Poor boys, such a frustrating end to their night of lust love. Ah, but Halbarad is so very chivalrous. *pats the Dunadain*

Really a nice technical job, Claudia, working the flashbacks between the present action. (And keeping Halbarad from walking into a tree while thinking of Frood.)
