Tunes All Over The Place!

Last night after The Tudors aired on Showtime, I was so surprised to hear that the music that the music that was playing in the background for the preview of the next episode was none other than the The Final Fight theme from Buffy's series finale, "Chosen"! I was like what the hell? That score was written specifically for Buffy by Rob Duncan. How ( Read more... )

OMG, that is so cool! How awesome, PC has not been forgotten in ABC Daytime! That's really, really cool. I'll bet that if Kelly Monaco or Eddie Matos heard it it brought back some memories!

Yeah it was so great hearing it on the show! Unfortunately Kelly and Eddie weren't in the scenes when it was played. It was a scene at the diner with Lulu, Maxie, Logan and Coop. But I just kept hoping that one of the former PCers would show up and go, 'hey I know that song'! LOL! But did you know that this wasn't the first time that a Stephen Clay song was played on GH? About a month after PC's cancellation in 2003, when Carly was going into labor with baby Morgan, she turned on the radio and was switching through the stations looking for the right song to keep her calm and distracted and we heard a snippet of 'Surrender'!

And speaking of PC/GH connections, in yesterday's episode it was the first time that Kiko and Kent shared a scene together since he joined the show a month ago. And right off the bat their characters Stan and Lainey had a problem with each other, so you know that means that the show is gearing them up to be an item! LOL! So it's definitely kinda like seeing Jamal and Imani together again! ;)

Aww, that's cute! They had good chemistry, I'm glad GH is taking advantage of that. How exciting it must be for them to work together again! Right now there are so many former PC-ers on other shows, it's really wonderful. The only thing that's really missing is Erin and Brian Presley...they are too awesome to not be on tv every day. But now that they're parents, I guess I understand.

Unfortunately I don't think we'll be seeing Brian on tv anytime soon, because the good news is he seems to be focusing on a budding film career that's going quite well so far. Back in January I was pleasantly surprised when I was flipping through my copy of Alternative Press magazine and saw that Brian was featured in an interview, where he was talking about the movie he was in, and his taste in music. Turns out he recently was one of the main stars in the Samuel L. Jackson war drama, Home of the Brave which also starred Jessica Biel and Chad Michael Murray. And he'll next be seen in the upcoming horror flick, Borderland. So glad for him. I always thought he had that movie-star type look. Glad to know he's doing well. I always love seeing when our daytime stars hit it big in primetime and the movies ( ... )
