Witness me try to figure out for myself how Buffy's feeling right now, because I'm having trouble with if I'm playing her how I want to be. I came out with something that conveys semi-accurately how I think she feels, and now I just worry to myself about whether that's IC. And I put it up because I figure if I'm worried about ICness, other people

.......having read all this I feel like an idiot commenting just to say that I always thought 'content' was a little higher on the happiness scale... but I did. Oops.

It's one of her happy icons that looks less agressively happy, so I use it like that. Really I just hate Buffy's facial expressions. Although I'm kind of amused that I'm using her content icon to show that she's discontent. Really, I just kind of suck.

Hey, I use all but two of my smiling icons that way. All the time.

For what it's worth both I (who follows some of your threads) and even Riku (who....doesn't) could tell that she wasn't really back to happy. Just thought she was having flashes of 'okay again.'

And Brainy just worked on ignoring her moods.

She probably needs to track down Riku and bitch at him about it, because he's one of the few people she'll actually bitch about it to.

Brainy was lucky he didn't get punched in the eye.

From the perspective of someone who's been pretty intimately involved in all of this, I think it's fair and logical for Buffy to be feeling so conflicted at the moment, and I hope we can get her back into a happier place soon. Kon's feeling pretty similarly, and he gets the trust thing, so hopefully they ca resolve it without too much collatoral damage.

It wasn't studying for my music test, which made it look very appealing.

Yeah, I'd just been having trouble rationalizing if she was the right kinds of conflicted etc. etc. Cuz I'm so very tired. And the resolution would be good, yeah, if they stop being dumb and stuff. Which isn't going to happen. Alas.

I saw that, but Buffy didn't. Besides, I wasn't sure if that helped Bart cuz he was unconscious and out of it.

Buffy probably wouldn't want to know about that either. And any time there's a dream where his soul mirror gets eaten by a lemur instead of a Lex/Clark make out scene means Bart had a good sleep and is not as prone to being sulky...
