Previous: The Black Guardian Trilogy Part 3: Enlightenment The King's Demons
So we begin by asking that most pressing of questions: are we in the past or another planet that just happens to look like medieval Britain?
Because if there's one thing I've learned from Classic Who, it's that a LOT of planets look like medieval Britain.
Oooo! Jousting tiems nao!
This jousting match will be postponed due to TARDIS on the field.
"Planet Earth."
"So it seems."
"You didn't set the coordinates here, by any chance?"
"Nnno."
Wow, Turlough, you catch on quick.
So it would appear that this is indeed Actual Medieval Britain.
And there's Tegan with that multicolored shirt I've seen her in for everything that wasn't her flight attendant uniform. At last!
Well, now we know where the title comes from. Apparently King John thinks that Team Fivey is a trio of demons.
I'm still debating "Team Fivey" as a term I use for ALL groups that travel with Five. I usually reserve it for the Nyssa/Tegan/Adric triad.
So would those three be the Original Team Fivey and Five/Tegan/Turlough is Team Fivey 2.0? Or something? Anyway, back to the show...
And naturally the Doctor uses his otherworldly influence to prevent unnecessary bloodshed. *salute*
"FILL HER!" So they try to shove Turlough inside her. Nope, not an innuendo at all.
Wow. I'd heard something about Turlough being chained at the crotch in this story, but wasn't quite sure how that could happen. Now I know.
Music scenes seem pretty rare in this series in general, but it looks like we're getting one now. Kinda nice, despite the subject matter.
*gloveslap* And the COAT COMES OFF!
So let's see if Fivey's retained any of Four's swordfighting skills from Androids of Tara.
Hey I recognize that dildo... "Oh my dear Doctor, you have been naive."
"You've always been my greatest stimulation, my dear Doctor, but now you inspire me." ...teeheehee...he said "stimulation" :3...
Sorry Tegan, but I don't think that'll let you join the ranks of the Stabby Companions (Jamie and Leela, in case anyone was wondering).
Awww, Fivey's trying to save the Master's life anyway...
And that spiked coffin turned out to be his TARDIS. Didn't see that coming o_O
So this would be Turlough's first time meeting the Master. Nice to have the villain introducing himself to the newbie so willingly.
"Arise, Sir Doctor." Does anyone who's seen more Who than me know exactly how many times the Doctor has been knighted over the centuries?
So Five's just been handed a position of power. Good to have in times like these. Means more freedom to do stuff.
Sorry, looks like the dildo doesn't work as a TARDIS key after all.
Wow. And he doesn't even have to say "you will obey me." Everyone seems to just be taking his word at face value.
Oh wow. Tegan actually managed to fly the TARDIS away! Of course the question remains, can she actually pilot it?
HELLO KAMELION! We meet at last!
So that's his introduction: he's the Deus Ex Machina that freed the Master from the aftermath of Time-Flight. O...kay...?
"Can anyone play?"
"Please."
*turns Kamelion into the Master*
I kinda wish I was counting how many times in this story the Master calls Five "my dear Doctor."
Alrighty. The battle for Kamelion's mind. Doctor vs. Master. You know what that means: TIEMCOCK CONTEST.
#holycrapyouguyshaveNOIDEAhowlongIvebeenwaitingtosaythat
And he turns into......Tegan? And Turlough will NOT GO WITHOUT A FIGHT!
"Well, Tegan, it's a long story and it appears to begin on Xeriphas."
"And who knows when it will end."
I do. It ends on Planet of Shorts.
You know, Tegan, sometimes I really just don't understand you at all. Oh well...
