I don't know what words I can say that express how great this was. There are few mental health tics out there. It's always good to see them. Because depression can seriously fuck with your mind, unless one gets help. So awesome work.

I do hope life gets/has gotten better. Just don't shut off. Does more harm than good.

Thanks. This started with a lot of self-loathing, and ended up being kind of therapeutic. Depression sucks, but you have to deal with it before you can get better.

Life is starting to get better, and I try to be happy most of the time. Shutting down isn't an option for me, but it's nice to have support.

Thanks for reading.

I never really understood why depression is such a taboo topic, when one of the ways to treat it is to talk about it. It just doesn't make sense to me. I don't really worry about how my depression effects how others see me, because I am not my depression. I'm normally super bubbly, but I have my days where I just can't stand myself. I work through it. I was having a seriously 'down' day when I started this, and I was actually worried about posting it; I didn't want to scare anyone with things that actually happen inside my head ( ... )

As someone who has been there, done that and got the t-shirt I can fully connect with this piece. It's written so well to slot into Annie's background but I can still get the sense of some of your personal experiences coming through here (whatever they may have been, I still get the personal touch from reading this).

I really, really adored this.
