Nokoru stalks women.

Jul 23, 2006 02:23

One thing about Nokoru's character that is simply beaten into the reader of CCD is that the thing he cares the most about is women. Despite threats to his own body, he will carry through on plans to hold a dance, for instance; he's almost a shounen retard in his drive to make women happy. Shoujo retard? Uh, he's also willing to sacrifice Suoh ( Read more... )

Would not mind at all. Not sure what he'd need/want to know.

We'll often see Nokoru talking about simple, public day-to-day things about women's lives; "this girl spends time working on botany at such-and-such time and the beauty of Clamp Campus' gardens are often attributed to her," or "the Art Club president often spends time here at whatever hour but I noticed something was suspicious because she started deviating from that schedule."

So for instance, I don't think he'd know what Cher does in the privacy of her jungle, but he might have memorized "well, Cher-jo likes to go do this in the morning."

Well, then he'd probably know that she likes to go for a morning jog, is terribly fond of orange juice, is being taught by Dr. Bailey, etc.

Hi. I'd be okay with Nokoru knowing a few things about Rin, although it'd probably weird her out. XD XD XD Obviously, you know what's badtouch insofar as knowledge goes, but let me see, some things he could've noticed about Rin. . .

Let's see, Rin disliking her hair being touched/physical contact in general would be fairly easy to notice (touch issues, whee). Um, she doesn't eat in front of most people-- i.e., during meals, she takes her food and leaves the Mess Hall, and returns when she's done eating. Not that she eats very much- she's a hideously picky eater.

She enjoys reading books quite a bit- during her quieter moments, she likes to tuck away in a corner of the library and read by herself. She generally prefers historical fiction, although she can occassionally be seen reading science fiction novels. She actually tries to avoid fantasy most of the time.

I hope this helps!

Cool, cool. ♥

Oh, one more thing about Rin, because I fail and remember things AFTER I hit post- Rin's an artist, but hell will freeze over before she'll show (almost) anyone her sketchbook.

Naminé can be easily observed to be an artist, to defer to Sora and Kairi in pretty much everything, to be affectionate and rational, to be occasionally emo to tha MAX - and, it might be noted, not when there's a problem she's trying to solve, or when Sora or Roxas are around ( ... )

Ah, I'm not going to have Nokoru have picked much up on Nobodies without having an actual discussion about it IC. He's not really the sort to go "hay you're a NOBODY" anyway, but then, it could affect his thoughts on how to treat certain issues...

I do have a question--I know that one of the big things with Sora and Roxas is that the two often come across to people who don't know their backgrounds as "twins;" my understanding is that Naminé is Kairi's Nobody, so do you figure that he would pick up on some resemblance between the two, or...?

[nods] Fine by me. :)

Oh, sure. They look a great deal alike - different hair colours and styles, but their facial structure is identical, with the same eyes, and their proportions exactly the same - though Naminé is taller than Kairi, being the same height as Sora and Roxas. They definitely could be sisters. XD

I'm definitely cool with Nokoru knowing stuff about Kodachi. Here's some basic, general stuff that is easy to figure out ( ... )

Thanks! I'll probably not have him know about her samurai lineage unless something about it crops up in camp, since issues of actual lineage would likely be something more accessible back in Ranmaverse, rather than camp--though he may suggest something along the lines in the process of complimenting her fighting abilities someday because he likes to go overboard with his compliments like that. But yes, this is just the kind of thing I was wondering about!

Rinali is helpful and generally friendly. She can usually be seen hanging out with Allen, her brother, Rabi, Cher, Caesar--a whole number of people, really. She's an Exorcist, which she makes no secret of, and tends to worry about what's going on back in her home world.

Larxene spends a lot of time by herself, usually reading in the library. She isn't assigned to a cabin--instead, she lives in the dungeons with Wednesday. When she is with people, mostly she's hanging out with Marluxia, Axel, Saya and/or Yuma, Hatsuharu, or Haruhi. Sometimes she chats with Natsuo, too. She's generally cheerful and teasing (with a sharp edge) to people, but is known to get snappish and defensive at a moment's notice.
