Wow Val!
You really let pictures spark your creativity.. I can't believe you sometimes. You really do have a gift of interpretation, and imagry. All your poems read like mini stories. I love the title.. it fits so nicely.
I think I like the second stanza best, as it has a metaphore of life contained in it. You know how to use your words so wisely in that part.

Thanks for reading this, Mandy! I have to say, when I first saw this picture on AP, it completely blew my mind. I loved it. lol. I knew it would inspire something or another. :)

You know something funny, when I don't try to write a story-poem, I have no problems. It's when I actually TRY to tell a story that it gets difficult. I can get pretty long-winded if I'm not careful. I guess I just talk to much. ;) lol.

I've decided that looking at a picture and then making up a story about it is a whole lot of fun. Most of my inspiration is coming from pictures lately.
