I blame the fics I read, alright

Because I had a homework assignment due today (finished it in 15 minutes and turned it in 30 minutes before it was due! I rock), and I'm supposed to be writing the final TSH fic, I wrote 1,600+ words of a completely new fic earlier.

As the icon says, B is to blame. Well, also the fic I was reading, which was cest_what's Chance of Sunshine and featured Ryan

oooh, I've read some stories with that premise before in this fandom. Sounds good to me--are you looking for the fic to be more serious?

I have too! I think my favorite so far has been the Ross/Pete, George/Brendon, Ryan/Spencer one. It's very well done and I know mine take on the idea cannot possibly end up as excellent as that one, alas.

It's supposed to be more serious, but so far it's a bit silly. Spencer and Jon are going to tease Ryan mercilessly, trying to force him to be a responsible adult, while Brendon's going to bumble along on his merry way, cutting hair and banging drums. I really don't know where this is going at the moment, except that it's definitely Ryan/Brendon, with other pairings undecided, and that Ryan is afraid of commitment, so relationships are difficult for him.

By what? Brendon having the most interesting and screwed up sex life in the history of ever? Brendon's really starting to think this time gets first prize, topping even the time with the twin sisters who switched on him in the middle of the night (the younger of which nearly gutted him the next day).

HAHAHAHA omg YES that too, but mostly BRENDON PLAYS TIMPANI IN THE ORCHESTRA. THAT IS AWESOME.

(also: reading through comments, I know you said you've read the one where Ryan has DID, but have you read the one where PETE does? (one of them is a GIRL. it's AWESOME) it's AMAZING and one of my most favorites ever. I can link you when I get home from work if you haven't.)

I am half regretting I didn't borrow from the elaborate universe B and I have developed where Brendon pursues art instead of music. Oh well. Timpani! I was thinking of Nodame Cantible last night, I think.

(Yes, I've read that one too. It was okay, but I didn't like it as much as the one where Ryan had DID? Though I do like that in the Pete one, you see more of Pete's personalities. Which is, I suppose, because it's from Patrick's pov instead of the pov of one of the personalities.)
