I was talking to Kate (yes, Kate of comic fame, who is awesome and who is totally going to be sucked into bandom, isn't that right, Kate?) and this somehow happened. Mostly because Tom and Carl are kick-ass (though Tom doesn't show up in this... probably because he's in the house, phoning Nita's dad). Takes place sometime between The Storybook Hour

I still say you can do an even more in depth crossover pretty easily.

Oh, I could. But I wouldn't do it with TSH, I'd do it with one of the other bands and I'd stick it in the lengthy fic I'm already writing.

Kate keeps trying to suck me into YW fandom, and I keep going ooo and coming up with ways to cross YW into bandom instead of being sucked in. Weeee~ (I kind of figured I've already managed to cross 3, 4 other fandoms/series into this, why not go for broke?)

And, hee, sounds like she's making a noble effort. Though, y'know, as a representative from the land of Bandom I totally support your take on this all the harder. (And of course the YW canon can only really help you out with crossing them into TSH-verse, especially with the Doctor Who ref in them.)

...I am also generally speaking a person whose motto in life is "more crossovers always!", though, so I have really enjoyed your crossover stuff especially. :D

Ahaha, her reasoning is that, "Mandy, Mandy! YW/DW crossovers are canon! You could cross them over to your heart's delight!" I'm like, "That's nice, it's been a while since I've read the YW books, oh? There's a new one that I still haven't read? Hmmm... Oh, and by the way, this is what TSH!Ryan has to say about So You Want to Be a Wizard?..."

My biggest issue with crossing in YW is that YW magic doesn't exactly mesh well with HP magic, and I've already crossed in HP, so...

I need to actually read more books in the Young Wizards series to find out the eventual fate of the talking dog. Sigh.
