Wallabies

What a dreadful Tri-Nations series. We lost them all. ALL! We didn't play too badly tonight, as opposed to other weeks. But there was too much dropped ball. Too many mistakes and too much inexperience. Oh well, let's get all these losses out of our system now. So long as we don't loose in 2007 like New Zealand are going to.

One can only hope we beat someone this year (oh and I'd like it to be you!)

I'd like it not to be us but I think it will be!

Well I'd like you to loose the cricket as well. But the way that is going, we might loose to England in both sports this year! :-)

Tip for 2007: France

Nope, the home team never win (except for NZ in 87). Plus, the French are too inconsistant, they play one or two games well, then just mope around for the rest of the time. Gotta go with the Boks so far. Or Wallabies (I wish)

The Boks can be equally inconsistent at times. I'm not tipping England as we're crap and I'm not tipping Wales because I don't like the Welsh!

Three words regarding tonight's match Bloody Matt Dunning.

Actually I'll add a few more - how good was Mark Gerrard! That's the kind of attacking runs I know him for.

I know! I do like Dunning, but he was terrible tonight.

Gerrard was brilliant. That was probably the best I have seen him play for the Wallabies.

Yeah it's definitely the best match he's had with the Wallabies colours and considering he was in doubt with his hammy, he did a fantastic job.

Drew Mitchell also had a shocker. And I'm literally shaking my head when I read the match reports that say that Mat Rogers was a revelation at Five-Eighth - seriously he wasn't a revelation apart for 2 damn moves in the whole match. *sigh* I hate being bitter towards some of our players but only a handful really stood up tonight - and that sure as hell doesn't include our forwards yet again.

I agree, Rogers was not a revelation, he was the last choice. And should continue to be. He isn't a bad player, but he isn't a five-eighth. He didn't do too badly in the position considering.

Our forwards are definatley below standard (except for George Smith, who has been one of our only consistently good players), but I'm not sure what we can do about it.
