So, I suck. I auditioned for Dsa, got great feedback and no entry into the school. For this I am sad.
So I went into my audition feeling quite confident. They made me relax a bit by asking questions about my name and they complimented my essay. They said how it was one of the best they had seen. Anyway we talked about my name...joked a bit...and

Honey, I'm so sorry! I'm sure you were amazing. From what I've heard, the stupid denver public schools board is trying to cut the number of out-of-district students that they let in, and I imagine you just fell into that number of students who should've gotten in, but didn't because some low-talent DPS student got the spot.
You don't suck, hun, but sometimes life does. Are you staying at Skyview then? Or is your family moving?
