so my car radio and my apartment radios all get different channels. yes, really. all set to receive FM broadcast, they all get different stations. 104.9, which is Christian Radio in my car, is some nasty rap "music" in my apartment. 107.3 in my car is country, but it's static in my digs. There's a radio signal firewall (college campuses usually do this) to filter out various frequencies and get them down to nothing. From there, inside this "firewall", the college can broadcast its own signal on the various frequencies and broadcast it to the campus buildings.

If you talk with Sam (still), he could probably explain it much better.

A seminary blocking a christian station and allowing disrespectful rap to get through? my car can still get the "blocked" stations when it is on campus grounds? if everything was opposite how it currently is, i'd agree with you, no questions asked (except for the car thing). as it stands, i think that i need to ask some natives what's going on.
