I thought it was great. Probably prefered last week episode because it seemed to me there were some unexplained bits or points whose explanation was rushed - I should rewatch it, I know. Didn't find it creepy, in fact I thought the building tension was mishandled at times - it was a bit 'and one, two, three, here comes the ghost'. But it was very entertaining nevertheless, quite eerie even. The scenes in the forest were gorgeously photographed and the sets and costumes were great, with even a steampunk helmet.
I'm looking forward to all the metas we are going to get for the episode because a) Oh another character who is a mirror for the Doctor except a positive one; b) LOOOOOVVVE is forever and family will always be there for you even long dead in another Universe; c) forests and THE MUSIC ROOM WAS THE HEART OF THE HOUSE; d) don’t trust the Doctor, TARDIS’s still grumpy.
Actually I didn't get the 'sliver of ice' line until later because of a combination of music and momentary suspension of English comprehension... But, yes, totally. That and the music room... I fear for River.
Best parts of the episode! The TARDIS is a sentient ship after all!

I'm an incoherent EEEEE CLARA mess. I just LOVE her interactions with Eleven, I love the edge they're dancing on, nothing too shippy, and yet some level of closeness that doesn't let itself really be defined, teasing and banter and Clara being scared and yet being strong, and CLARA CALLED THE TARDIS A COW and all the Clara/TARDIS tension I loooooved so much, and also THAT SCENE between Clara and Eleven in the TARDIS, gosh, "you are the only mystery worth solving" was perfect in that context. I loved that line in the trailer but I was worried it sounded a bit too… dramatic, and it's just PERFECT that he meant it about the humans, in fact, and yet his whole attitude during that scene and the "we are all ghosts, I'm dead now" theme made it obvious that he was also thinking of Clara's mystery. I also approve of how "I am the Doctor and I am afraid" was delivered. I loved Emma. Emma is WONDERFUL
STFU, LJ. Emma is WONDERFUL and her girl talk with Clara was just so good :D All the stuff was really good. God, I sound like such a rambly mess and my sentences run on and onnnnnnnnn. But yes, yes, feels!
