Well I can't help with your machine, but as for the Christmas thing do what I did - leave! I mean sure it's Christmas all around the world, and sure I've come to a country where 'Christmas Spirit' is almost a religion in itself, but I've not only got away from my whole family (except my sister and possibly a cousin who is over here too), but everybody in the house I'm living in is working on Christmas day!!

Not only that, it's a WHITE christmas. Jealous yet??

No no, I'm just working on the Vermont branch of that special institution - I guy I met last night was so excited he'd found an Australian who drank scotch that he began hating Christmas just so he could be my friend.
