I love U2's song One. It's pop, yes, but it's a beautiful song.

And now, Mary J Blige, that hideous cow, has released her version of it.

You've just heard it now??? I've been terrified to go anywhere near radios tuned into pop stations, because I never know if the next song I'll hear will be the 'new version'! It's been out for ages, and yes, it sucks royal monkey balls!!!! And I also love the original, so it's really upsetting, because every time I hear it, I think it'll be that, but then she kicks in with her stupid wailing and yeah.....
I feel your pain. I should just stop listening to the radio, coz most of it is crap these days.

I collect a lot of cover songs, 'cause they're oft funny, and oft really cool. An unliked song can be made good, or an unliked artist can do a good version of a great song (rarer).

I think in this case it all kinda went horribly wrong, if you get what I mean.
