I just finished my first clapotis a few days ago! You can view my progress as I went along on my web site
here and there are finished photos under the cut! The yarn is a silk/wool cross from
HipKnits, who unfortunately took most of their site offline for the holiday.

I can't remember where I got my icon from, but I think it was a Nintendo buddy icon pack. :) It's a pirahna plant from the series.

NOTE: This pattern can easily be adapted for a larger stole or smaller scarf in this way:
1. Work Set-up Rows as for scarf.
2. Work Increase Rows until piece is desired width. (Measure width along right-hand side of triangle, with even-numbered side facing.) Work Increase Rows 1-6 once more before proceeding to Straight Rows.
3. Work Straight Rows until piece is desired length. (Measure length along left-hand side of piece, with even-numbered side facing.)
4. Work Decrease Rows as necessary until 23 sts rem. Work Decrease Rows 1-10 once more. Work Final Rows.

Lovely work, by the way :)

And, I'm so glad you posted your progress chart. I started my first Clapotis (and my first largish project) about the same time you started yours, and I'm just about finished with mine. For some reason I expected it to go a lot faster, and was actually thinking about writing a post asking if I'm just phenomenally slow or what. I'm glad to know that either I'm not, or at least I'm not the only one!

I did take a week and a half off because I, eek, ran out of yarn! The yarn was a gift from a British friend, specifically for this project and she didn't get me enough, so I had to wait for her to get me some more before I could continue. :( I was knitting pretty constantly for the straight rows and on, as I was majorly stressed and what better to do when you're stressed. ;)
