Non-worsted weight

For those of you who are using something other than worsted weight for your Clap, are you changing the needle size to match, or no?

I'm making one out of Knit Picks' Sock Garden. I'm using US8 needles and it's coming out just fine for me. I tend to be a bit of a tight knitter, though, so you might want to do a swatch.

I think it's supposed to be drapey, so I'd probably go up one or two from what the yarn normally calls for, IMHO. :)

Yes. I used US4 needles when I used sock yarn. I'm a very loose knitter.

I'm an average knitter, gauge wise, and I stayed with size 8s even though I used sock yarn (knitpicks!) It came out fine, though going down a size or two probably wouldn't have hurt. I liked how it looked though.

I changed to 5s with fingering weight, but I also knit very loosely.
