50/ 50 books. 100% done!

I read Pride and Prejudice last night, my 50th book YAY! *does victory dance*

Also I've somehow managed to make my 43things.com mate with my LJ and copy all my entries from there into here as well as duplicating a whole bunch of LJ entries too... I'm so confused! I totally fail at the internets.

YAY! I'm gonna try for 50 books again next year. I did have a brief moment of madness where I thought of doing 75 but I don't want reading to become a chore, y'know?

BTW your icon is mesmerizing in the creepiest kind of way...

I've got to polish off Howl's Moving Castle and that'll take me to something like 16 books since I started keeping track in July. Which is pitiful compared to you. *bows in the face of your magnificence*

P&P is a wonderful book. It's so totally out of my reading norms, but I am head over heels for it. (And Colin Firth as Darcy in the miniseries makes me spontaneously combust. We shall not speak of it.)

Oh I quite enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle! I only got to 50 because I have the luxury of lounging around the house all day doing sweet F.A. If I didn't read, the boredom would drive me up the the wall!

I am downloading the mini-series at the moment, I was too young to ah... fully appreciate it the first time I watched it!

P&P has got me into a period-drama mood I think, I watched Kate and Leopold last night. The only thing better than Hugh Jackman? Hugh Jackman dressed as a 19th century Duke. I mean damn.

Ah ha! Clearly, what I need to do is quit school and take up reading full time. Just think of all the things I'd have time to not do! Howl's Moving Castle has been conquered as of about a half an hour ago. Last book of the year, and it was nice to go out on a high note. I loved Howl. He was so delightfully OTT.

I was fortunate enough to not have age issues. Fully capable of, erm, appreciating everything from the first time I saw it. (I second your opinions about Mr. Hugh Jackman. I have such a thing for period dress. It's almost to the level of a kink.)
