Fai is schizophrenic and Yuui is his other personality. Yuui knows about Fai but Fai is unaware of Yuui. Kurogane is Fai's childhod friend who's been in love with Fai but has to move away. When they reunite and Fai agrees to go out with him, Kurogane gets to meet Yuui for the first time and he comes to like them both and somehow feels guilty of the situation.

I want them in their early twenties please. Fai can be an artist or something that allows him to stay home and thus nobody is aware he's schizophrenic. And benevolent Yuui, please, not murderous and envious.

It's an interesting prompt, but you are aware that schizophrenia has nothing to do with multiple personalities, right?

I knew it. Schizophrenic is so not what I meant, I meant multiple personalities. Sigh. That's what happen when I got 4 or less hrs. of sleep for over a week. My English suck enough as it is XO

One personality also will never have the memory of another personality. Sorry to be pedantic, but it's been knocked into my head during college.

I believe alters can have knowledge of each other and of the host (aka core or birth) personality in a case of Dissociative Identity Disorder. Since there is only one alter (Yuui) here I believe the host (Fai) would indeed be unaware of his existence, but Yuui could be aware of Fai. ^^
