Submit: Iris Lyrics
The theme for week forty-nine is a lyrical challenge using the song Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls since it was suggested in the past by a member and seems to be quite popular as a request/source of inspiration lately. We haven't done a lyrical challenge in a while...
You may submit one CLAMP icon as long as it features at least three consecutive words from the lyrics provided. The order counts for the first three words but after that you can take a bit more liberty with the lyrics provided you don't stray too far and end up misrepresenting their content.
You are not allowed to use any outside text for this challenge, so for convenience sake any tiny/decorative text should be from the lyrics provided. If some of your three words are written in a way that is not easily read be sure to tell me what the icon says when you submit. You are allowed to manipulate capitals/lowercase text as you see fit and alternate punctuation in cases such as replacing 'and' with '&', but otherwise use the text only as provided. Please check your spelling/wording before submitting.

Please submit your icon by uploading it to an outside host that allows direct linking, then leave a screened comment to this post with your icon's img src, url, series and character name. This information makes my job easier so please follow this example.

- You must be a member to participate, one icon per member (excludes multiple accounts)
- Your icon must feature a scene/character from a known CLAMP series obviously
- The icon must have been made by you for obvious reasons, no theifs allowed
- It must meet LJ requirements (maximum 100x100 and 40kb, gif/jpg/png format)
- It should be a recently made icon that has been kept anonymous/secret throughout
- Do not use/distribute/advertise your submission anywhere (LJ/web) during the challenge
- Doujinshi/Fanart/Cosplay images are not allowed, you must use official art only
- Please credit outside sources (i.e. borders, brushes, templates, premade bases & lyrics)
If something is amiss with your submission I will reply/inform you of it and give you a chance to either resubmit the icon or fix the comment depending. It is at my discretion to disqaulify you for failure to follow these guidelines.
You have until Saturday, June 11th at 8:00 am EST in the morning to submit.
If you have any questions about this challenge or want a comment made public, be sure to make a separate comment without your icon, so I can unscreen it.

I won't give people permission to use your work, I'll just send them to your journal/ijournal to ask you personally for your permission and your rules for credit.
