Sign-up: Week 366 (Team Icon Battle)
clamp_icontest is officially eight years old! This community was created on June 22nd 2004 and our very first post/challenge went up the following day on the 23rd. This year I feel like celebrating the milestone and would like to host a Team Icon Battle, because they look like fun XD
If you're interested in participating, here's how it works: members will sign-up listing their favourite CLAMP series and then I'll pair people together based on those choices until we have, hopefully, a few teams of 2-4*. Each team will then come up with a clever name that enbodies their assigned series and all teammates will need to provide the others with 2-4* images until you have enough resources to make 6-8 icons each. At the end of the event there will be a reveal post and we'll proudly display all the teams' work for the rest of the community to see, admire and comment on! It'll be great publicity too ;P
*Depending on the number of members that sign-up and the range of series they list, I may have to adjust the number of people per team and how many images/icons they each must provide/make
Here is a tentative schedule, set to run for an entire month with two weeks to make your actual icons. Do let me know if you guys feel it is not enough time though, as I can add on an extra week if need be.

To sign-up please leave a comment at this post by Friday, June 29th at 11:00 PM EDT listing in order your top five CLAMP series. I will try my best to match your highest preference(s) but keep in mind it may not always be possible, so don't put something you aren't actually comfortable iconing! Also make sure you have the time to committ, as dropping out midway will let your team down and ruin some of the fun for them *sadface*

I will not be hosting any standard challenges during this month, so as to keep all my focus on running the event. I may also take part myself, but only if needed to complete the teams. You will earn the usual number of cards at tcg_exchange for submitting your icons (unless I hear otherwise) but there will be no other ways to earn cards. I will also make you guys shiny participation banners if you want them!
Don't be shy to take part, everyone is welcome! The more teams the better, so feel free to promote the event to friends that might want to participate or in your own communities (you can hotlink the above banner) if you feel there is interest.
