I can't believe how big Fyfa has grown! I was just looking at her first puppy picture, and she was so much smaller. She still has her puppy face, though. Cutie!
Awww, thanks, beth. I wish I could spend every day cuddling with her while she slobbers on her toys ('cuz it's better than her chewing on the furniture and carpeting).
Goodness, no! She was at forty pounds right before Christmas. I shouldn't need to get her weighed before I buy her next Combogard treatment, but it's a different dosage when she goes over sixty pounds... if she goes over that. I hope not because she's already a handful.
She's testing the limits when it comes to authority and pulling me when we go for walks. I'm very nervous now because the streets are snow and ice covered, so our walks are very short, just enough for me to practice commands. It's a workout, for sure.
I have just begun obedience training with her, although she gets trained almost daily in puppy daycare. I would like to attend lessons twice a week, but that would involve an evening class, and I'm dead tired when I get home from work. But if it would make her a better citizen sooner, I might have to drag my butt off the couch.
