Happy Mother's Day! I do love IKEA. I feel almost handy when I buy things there. IKEA man rocks, he speaks my language. :) I have been looking at flights to MN as well, I think it is time to finalize flights. Not tonight for me, but within the next day or two. I haven't decided whether to fly in on Thursday or on Friday...

Hooray for home improvement, awesome new entertainment centers, and birthdays (and birth days)! Excellent news on all fronts. And the Penzey's you mention... is it the one in Beverly Hills? I keep wanting to go out there, but I haven't made it. Yet. I have plans. *g*

Yes, Penzeys is in Beverly Hills on the northeast corner of 13 Mile Road and Southfield Road. Mr. C was there on Saturday while Lil' C was attending a book release party at Borders. Hmmm, I wonder if Omaha Steaks still has a store in that strip mall. *dreams of mouth-watering beef and amazing spices*

Basically, yes! It wound up being a bit more subdued, as Mom was unfortunately coming down with a sinus infection, but we still had a good time. :D

Oooh, Omaha Steaks there, too? That's... that's not even fair. How does anybody pass that up?
