Yesterday I sent my son, Lil' C, off to sleep-away camp for ten days. *Sigh* He's nine years old, and this is the first time he's been away from mom, dad and home for so long. My husband and I have gone on holiday abroad twice without him, yet I wasn't as anxious as this in those situations.

So he left on Tuesday... Still hanging in there, Mom? He'll be back before you know it!

Still hanging in there. The new margarita maker (on sale at Meijer)helps. Mmm, restaurant-quality drinks without tipping the waiter.

He'll be home next Friday as a matter of fact. I can check out photos of him on the camp website in the meantime. To me it looked like he was in pain, but Mr. C pointed out that he looks like that in all photos. Li'l C squints and expects to be blinded by a flash, even in properly lit situations. LOL
