Thanks, Dix. That's the first wall hanging I made after the obligatory fabric scrap quilt we all make at some point in our sewing lives.

*hugs*

You could have said "because MollysSister is a bossy cow" I would have been okay with that.

HEY L you are sewing talented! Are you self taught or did you take a class? I very much like your color wash. I have always wanted to do one of those. The log cabin is delightful too. I am impressed. I knew there were lots of reasons we are friends. Not just tall dark and beaky

Bossy cow?! No way. I'd say you are charmingly coercive, but in a good way. :D

I caught the sewing bug in junior high school home economics. After that I took classes at the local Singer center and Stretch and Sew. I used to sew a lot of clothes in my youth. Now it's mostly costumes and the occasional wall hanging. I kind of miss it.

Thanks, OJ. I do love my fiber arts, but I wish I could draw like you. That's what I call talent!

Thank you, my dear... but seriously, your quilts are impressive! You should have them published! :D

I bet you're a very talented dentist too!

Not only do I enjoy helping people but I really dig the artistic part of my job. Sure it's just teeth, but it's challenging to mimic original issue body parts. :D

I can't make this art to save my life, visually I love the brown teal one or the geese.

The color wash was my last project. It's my favorite and it broke my heart to take it down, but it doesn't match the comforter set I have now.

Beautiful! You are a woman of many talents. :)

(I also watched SYTYCD tonight ... had never seen it before - interesting show!)

Thanks, dear. Hope you stick around for the whole season of SYTYCD. It will be worth it when the ten finalists are chosen. I've been watching the show since the second season and consider it one of the highlights of the summer. Those kids are really amazing.
