Got up late, as is my tendency nowadays, and walked into Bethesda to do some shopping. Managed to find a comic shop and picked up the most recent Buffy comics, but they didn't have a Shep action figure or the third Chuck comic that's been released so I'm going to have to find another, bigger store in DC before I leave to get those

hee yay another tennis fan? wow sweet. but don't say anything about the ladies' final as I still haven't finished watching it (it was just too late on Sunday - I get up at 5 am so I go to bed early - and my power went out as they were nearing the end of the second set last night *headdesk*). when I got home I saw the score of the men's match, figured it was a foregone conclusion and decided to finish watching the ladies' match first. then the power went out. *le sigh* I'll have to finish watching tonight instead lol. sounds like you had a nice day though. when do you head back? also on a random note... FRINGE starts tonight! w00t! I'll stop rambling in your comments now... *snicker*

I don't mind rambling. I do it often myself :P

As for the Tennis, I don't follow all the tornaments, but wimbledon is always fun and I try to see some of the other grand slams (assuming they play them on the channels I get at home :(

And as a reply to your random note, FRINGE! I may have to watch it...again (you gotta love comiccon!)

yes, it's hard to follow all the tournaments since you can't find much on tv (though I now have the Tennis channel that helps... a little at least lol) but I love to watch what I can and when I was in Miami I did manage to make it to the Master's event they have there 2 years running, so that was a blast. I hope to be able to make it to the slams eventually, but who know if/when that'll happen though? Wimbledon and the US Open have been my favorites simply because of all the coverage - and the time of the coverage has been convenient too - but that's finally getting better here now, which is not necessarily a good thing for my sleep schedule during the Aussie Open lol. and here I go rambling again *snicker* other random note, today I hate math. also, I need a new tennis icon. preferably starring Novak Djokovic. or Rafa Nadal. or actually Dinara Safina 'cause Marat's little sis kicks ass. /rambling
