So, kidlets, here's how we're going to work this baby. Beginning today (Nov. 1) and ending next Thursday (Nov. 12) people will be free to leave comments on this post with a few-word fic prompt. (i.e; 'Claire's first time', 'Baking cookies', 'Telling Noah', whatever tickles your fancy) mind you, there's no word limit on the prompts you post; However, I would advise you not to spell out an entire plot. Half the fun is to have the authors round out what they want to write themselves.
At the same time, if Authors find a comment post that fires up the creative muse, they can reply to it with a story based on said prompt. It can be as short or as long as the author pleases.
If this turns out to be popular, I will consider extending the date. If not, we'll keep it as is.
Rules
1) All story lengths are accepted. If your story is too long to fit into three or so comments, post it somewhere else and then link to it in a comment.
2) All ratings are accepted. If you are uncomfortable with reading a certain rating, please include that note on your prompt to ward authors away from writing it. Authors, if you write a story with an R or NC-17 rating, make sure that it is properly headed so no young person's tender sensibilities are damaged. Also tag any kinks/plot themes that may be found disturbing to readers.
3) If you don't plan on writing fics, keep it fair and don't post more than one or two prompts.
4) Please be kind and respectful to other Authors/commenters.
