Drama Thoughts: Shikaku Tantei Higurashi Tabito (2015, 2017)
This drama was very engaging with good character building and good storyline. The story was very strongly woven throughout the series and it affect each of the characters. The premise has the main character Higurashi Tabito only having his sight working while all of his other sense are gone. He is able to see emotions and uses it to solve crimes. ( Read more... ) -
Drama Thoughts: Shinigami-kun
I watched Ohno's 2014 drama and thought it was very enjoyable. It had moments of sadness, comedy and love of life.
It was interesting how death and the afterlife have been explored differed depending on world views. I felt that death portrayed in western tv series, knowing that you were going to die, would cause the character to be more inclined ( Read more... ) -

Ready Player One is a science fiction, dystopian novel that mainly follows Wade Watts who wants to find the Easter Egg which will grant him a fortune, a grand prize. Book Thoughts: The Word is Murder Anthony Horowitz
A very interesting take on the murder mystery novel. The premise is that a wealthy woman has been strangled 6 hours after arranging her own funeral. It seems interesting at first but unfortunately it does not hold my attention as Horowitz tries to weave too many plot lines and then get resolved halfheartedly and sometimes appear out of nowhere.

Find the Answer thoughts
This was a good single with a mix of something old and something newish. Their main songs Find the Answer, Shiro ga Mau and Machikado no Koibito-tachi were in the flavour of Arashi, nice ballad, slow type songs and very up lifting to listen to.
