Who: Venom, Ky, Jam What: Trevor decides to invite his new friends over to his house for some cooking lessons courtesy of Jam. When: After school Where: Venom's house FINISHED! ( But I burn toast! )
Ky almost lost his composure taking the bottle. Oh how he lusted for that sweet, sweet, WONDERFUL tea he had heard of. Attempts to contain himself were futile as he opened the bottle and took a large gulp of the chilled brew. With a satisfied sigh and a wiping of his mouth, he smiled happily.
"Simply wonderful! Your mother has impeccable brewing skills!" the boy said excitedly.
"I'm pretty sure the pans are down there. If you prepare it I'll start forming the balls." Trevor gestured to the cabinet as best he could. His hands were covered in meat and breadcrumbs, after all.
Jam nods, pulling out a suitably-sized pan and preparing it with cooking oil, setting the stove burner's temperature as well as the oven's to the proper settings. "Okay aru, the balls should be just about the aize of a golf ball, and don't worry about fussing over how perfectly round they are aru. As long as they're spherical enough they'll cook evenly aru." She shows him how much to space them, and then sets them on the oven. She checks the pasta. "Ah~! It's bubbling- time to add the pasta aru~" she beams, dumping in the box. "Now you can stir it a little bit every so often, making sure it doesn't bubble over aru.
"Got it!" He couldn't get over himself. He was actually cooking, and nothing's been ruined or burned!
After forming the balls, he took a wooden spoon and stirred the noodles. So far, so good. The water boiled perfectly, and Trevor couldn't help giggling to himself.
Jam was happy to see that she could share the joys of cooking with another, and it made her heart swell with pride. "Let's see.. it should just me a moment between stirs, be sure to watch for the bubbling aru," she nods.
"It shouldn't be longer than half an hour aru. Just wait for the timer to go off and you'll know aru. And as for the sauce.. well, unless you have some fresh tomatoes, and seasonings, and such... well, I just so happened to bring along a jar of my own special sauce aru!" she beams, pulling out the jar. How did she know she'd need that? Because she's a MAGICAL chef. :D
Jam giggled, peering at the boy enthralled with his drink. It was so adorable ♥ "I'm fine, thanks though aru," she smiles, pulling out a can of Oolong tea- the very sort she wears in her hair- and pops open the top. "Before you ask, it's a way of recycling aru~"
"Well.. it's certainly interesting aru..?" The girl replies, sipping at her tea. "There seem to be quite a few characters and odd people there aru. Is this what all American schools are like aru ka..?" Not that Venom'd know, but she wonders aloud. It really is a weird bunch.
"There are some interesting students, but it's a nice change from my previous school." Trevor sipped his juice. "I'd been enrolled in an all-boys academy most of my life, so seeing girls around along with no uniforms is a change for me."
Ky finally pulled himself from his tea induced ecstasy to join in on the conversation. "You went to a boy's school too? So did Sol and I!" he said excitedly.
Jam giggles softly. "I went to a private school, but it was mixed aru. I wonder if same-sex schools are more common here than in China aru ka..?" she wonders to herself, taking another sip of her tea. "The uniforms back home were such a pain! I'm glad I don't have to wear those anymore aru," she nods.
Trevor was pleased as punch that Ky was so happy with the tea. "My school was rather strict. Our uniforms had to be perfect in every way along with our grades. Ky, what was your school like? I may have met a couple of exchange students from some French academies."
"It was a boarding school meant specifically for the sons of important political and academic figures. This was during the early forming of the European Union, so the school was nearly packed to capacity at that point, what with all of the diplomats and professuers that had taken up residence in Paris.
We did not have that much strictness with dress code, but a lot of boarding rules were really strict. Dorms needed to be kept immaculate and we were not allowed to leave campus at all unless accompanied by a faculty member"

"So how long should the meatballs cook? And what about the sauce?"

He washed his hands and grabbed some glasses from the cupboard. "Anyone want anything to drink? Other than Ky?" He teased.

"So how are you liking the school so far? I think it's actually pretty good for a public school."
