WHO: Chun-Li, Karen Kozuki, OPEN WHAT: The nerd goes to karate club, itching for a spar! WHEN: May 29, 2008 - After school, when there still was school yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's the ticket WHERE: Clairbourn High Second Gym
In her home environment, Karen finished her warmup, executing the last of a set of warm up throws that brought the freestanding bag spinning in circles on her shoulders, then thumping over to the mat.
Starting to feel the sweat under her gi, Karen noticed a newcomer. She approached her with a smile. "You look kindof restless. I'm Karen Kozuki."
Ohhhhhhhh, right. She HAD sort of changed her appearance hadn't she? A lot. Her glasses were gone, and she wore a touch of make-up too. She was also the type who had waltzed around in sweats and flannels. Of course people wouldn't recognize her.
"Chun-Li," she grinned, sticking out her hand. "Nice to meet you! Heh heh, I suppose you could say that," she laughed, head cocked to the side. "The weather's been so good lately that I'm all full of energy! This is my favorite outlet," she said, with an indicative glance around the room. "How about you? Up for a spar or something?"
"Sounds good to me!" Chun-Li grinned, lacing her fingers together and turning out her palms. Five minutes might have seemed short to most people, but in a fight, it could go on for a VERY long time. None of her tournament matches ever lasted that long, thankfully, she would have been worn out working through the bracket.
She planted her hands on her knees, stretching out her legs as she squatted to the left, then to the right, and swung her arms before wiggling her head from side to side to get the kinks out of her neck. Finally satisfied that she was loose and limber, Chun-Li brought up her arms, palms turned towards Karen as she assumed her battle-ready position. She continued to bob on the balls of her feet, the ribbons in her hair swaying to and fro.
(OOC: You'll have to forgive the player, I don't know what those rules entail! Enlighten me? :Da)

"Sure, five minutes and MMA rules good for you?" Karen said, retrieving a timer.
