"At this rate, none of us are going to be ready to go back next week."
He was just extremely grateful to be out of the house at this point and away from the very loud person he was sharing a home with. He would have killed Mista if he'd stayed any longer. A good 'breakfast' sounded perfect to him right now.

She excitedly flipped through the menu. "Vegan Blueberry Pancakes beat a healthy schedule any day of the week."

When asked what he would like to eat, he simply made a statement of having a glass of water and nothing else. After all, water was free.

"Oh, no I'm quite fine. I appreciate the offer though~" A pleasant smile crossed his lips as he put his hands up to decline the menu.

She glanced up at the server when they approached, jutting her thumb towards Johnny. "Could you put our ticket together?" Ha. No escape.

"So, Jojo, I haven't had much time to talk to you outside of class lately. How's life? And May Lee for that matter?"

When the waitress arrived, she ordered a short stack of the blueberry vegan pancakes and fished around in her pocket, hoping she'd brought enough.

He quickly looked at Leviathan when she had nudged the menu to him, and took a double take when she claimed their checks were together. He bit his lower lip, not at all wanting to take advantage of free food, but at the same time trying not to make himself look greedy.
He looked to the waitress and finally ordered himself a small side salad. Salads were cheap, looked filling, and healthy for a person! Healthy for those who ate regular meals, in Johnny's case he'd simply be hungry later.

A side salad? That was it? Well, at least it was relatively healthy, but she raaaaaaaaised her eyebrows at him nonetheless. "Hm. You're too modest," she chuckled, and turned to glance at the others. That girl sure was being quiet.
