Karen emerged from the women's lockers, wearing gi pants, a tank top and a sports bra underneath it. A pair of fingerless, 4 ounce MMA gloves were strapped to her hand. She figured full Judogi might intimidate the blonde boy.

The mat made a familiar squish under her toes. She tossed a second pair of the small gloves to Vega. "Stretch, put these on, and tell me when you're ready."

Vega took a look at the gloves and tried not to turn up his nose. While they were padded, they looked hideous. Nevertheless, he strapped them on and began stretching like the older girl told him to. Thankfully, he hadn't forgotten how to stretch from his bullfighter days, not that he actually had the chance to go up against a full-grown bull. The largest one he defeated was still technically a calf.

After a few minutes, Vega signaled the redhead. "Ready."

She rotated her neck side to side, cracking it and faced Vega.

"Alright. Now try to punch me. In the face." She smiled, wondering if the younger boy had any compulsions about not hitting a girl. It'd be hard to teach him if he did...

Vega clenched his hands into fists. There had been times he wanted to slug girls, but mainly because they weren't pretty and were offending his senses. Karen... she... confused him. While she was attractive, she preferred to work harder on fighting instead of maintaining her femininity. To Vega, hitting her could go either way. After deliberating for a little while, he did what she was instructed.

He charged the fighter with a left hook to the face.
