Sick as a dog...But he still came to school. It was better than staring at the ceiling for hours at a time. Johnny made his way out to the courtyard. He had to wonder why the hell his teacher thought it a good idea to have class outside...Regardless, he soon found Onizuka and raised an eyebrow.

"Class outside, teach? Have to wonder why," he said in almost a weak voice, staring blankly at the math teacher from his place on the sidewalk.

Onizuka didn't get back up. he simply laid on the ground, soaking up the morning sun and the dew into his shirt. He heard a faint voice coming from above him.

"Did you know that before there were buildings, there were classes? they were done just like this, in the morning sun, sometimes at random times. Somebody would start talking, and someone would start listening...and so on until you had a crowd of people craning their ancient necks to hear some nutball gripe about rice."

Onizuka sat up. "Hey, you're that kid i never see around here. I think i've seen you once since i moved in."

"I knew that, but...we have buildings now, you know."

Johnny didn't move from his position. He really had no interest in getting his clothes wet from the dew. That and his arms were aching from the illness he'd managed to catch.

"Johnny Joestar. You can call me Jojo, everyone else does. I tend to keep to myself," he said, shrugging a bit.

Onizuka outstreches his hand. "Eikichi Onizuka, math teacher extraordinare. You're the first person to introduce himself, and i've been here a week."
