Martial Arts Club Take Two!

WHO: Chun-Li, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Jam Kuradoberi, Karen, Vega, Ken Masters, Fei Fong Wong, Dyanmo, OPEN (particularly to members of the martial arts club)
WHAT: Another after-school jam session, and an excuse to smack people around and not get in trouble. (You know that's why you really joined.)
WHEN: January 30th, 2007 - After School

"So this is the martial arts club..." He said to himself as he saw everyone in the middle of their warm ups. Everyone there looked tough in their own aspect, probably most of them seasoned fighters and definitely no pushovers.

The only one out of the lot he recognized was Jam, and that was only because she told him to look for a girl with a loop ponytail on the network, so he figured he'd best introduce himself. With a quick readjustment of his bag over his shoulder he proceeded to head towards her. "Hey! You must be jam right? Name's Fei Fong Wong." he said with a small wave of his hand.

Dynamo had decided to take a look at this martial arts club he had heard about so many times. Once before he took a look at the weapons club and had decided he had better things to do with his time. So now it was time to check this place out as well.

So wandered on in and looked about at the other students who dotted the area. He had decided he wasn't going to join in on any spars, unless others had insisted on such.

Chun-Li's head turned as Terry entered, and she flashed him a wide grin since she couldn't very well wave. "Hey hey, you're right on time!" She knew she could count on him to be punctual. And dropping into push-ups? No messing around, either. He was the model martial artist in every way, and Chun-Li was inspired to work even harder. She quickened the movements of the jump rope, double thwaps hitting the floor between each tight-legged bounce on the toes of her sneakers

Ken came up from hugging his legs and ran his left hand though his long hair to move the strands from his face. "Heh, I'm sure I gotta be a bit better then last time ya watched me work." he said with a grin splitting his lips. "I'm not that good Chun, theres always someone better ya know?" it seems a bit of Ryu's attitude had rubbed off on him.

He started to bounce on his toes, the bounces getting higher and higher, his sweat pants keeping time. If this is what his calf's could do this guy had to have one hell of a vertical leap. "I just can't wait to see what the rest of ya can do." settling down he alternately pulled his right then left knees to his chest "So, what are the rules?"

It was that kind of modest attitude that Chun-Li liked to see, even if she was pretty sure that there were few who would end up matching Ken's level of skill. Just the same, she was eager to see what would come from today's sparring. "What do you mean, 'not that good.' Just because you're not the World Warrior just yet doesn't mean you can't kick butt and take names, and I know you're fully capable of that!" she laughed, punching a fist against her hip.

"There aren't any strict rules, just general sparring courtesy. Aim to tag your opponent rather than hurt them, avoid blows to the face or other serious harm, things like that. After all, martial arts are all about being in control of your body. We pull our punches here." For the most part, anyway.

Ken chuckled "Thanks for the vote of confidence." walking over and putting his hand on Chun's shoulder. He flashed that winning smile of his. "Why don't ya introduce me to a few people, be my tour guide for old times sake?" he swept his arm across the room. "What do ya say sister?" Ken requested, cocking his head to the side in question.
