Anyone know anything about stone carving? Me and blades just aren't working out. All my wood carvings have big red stains on them. I'm wondering if something without knives'd work better.

And does the school library have any books on it, or should I head down to the public one?

Eh, just random stuff. Animals mostly. They suck tho. I mean, they have 4 legs, a head, and a tail, but you can't really tell what they're supposed to be. At least I'm not cutting the legs off when I carve them anymore. Just my fingers.

((OOC: They're better than he thinks.))

Not sure if I'm putting my soul into them. I only started cuz I was bored visiting relatives over the summer. I'm kinda just doing it for something to do when I'm bored. But I've gotten better since I started so I must be putting some soul into it.

I'm not trying to put blood into them. That's just happening on its own. Heh. Maybe I'm actually making vampires or something and they're gonna come to life one night and suck all my blood out.

Yeah. I've been doing wood carving for a few months, but I keep cutting myself with the knife. I read that stone carving uses chisels and drills and stuff, so I'm wondering if it'd work better for me. You know anything about it?

Hmm... I wonder if Suwako knows anything about that. We had hand-carved ranma at the shrine in Lake Suwa.

If you are looking for stone carving books, we have a lot of them! We have "Sculpture in Stone" by Josepmaria Teixido I Cami, "Sculpture, Principles and Practice" by L. Slobodkin, "Contemporary Stone Structure" by Dona Z. Meilach (that's one that I have read), and...

...okay, so I think we only have those three. Maybe there are not as many as I thought in the library here...
