Although it has to be said that there's a certain person (shall we call her Foxy?) who would have been perfectly capable of calling Techie then finding out she hadn't plugged the electrical item into the power socket. What? Okay, yes I've done that before!!

It's exactly what happened - you have no idea how many times I pressed the dvd button in two days, just in case the computer would magically decide to work again. I'd 'killed' a power supply unit before roughly in the same situation. Because of that, when I cleaned the back of the computer the other day, I thought maybe it wasn't a good idea: it looks like I conditioned myself.
I guess at some point, we all have those moments where our brain misfires. In that case, I just wish said misfiring was a bit less expensive...
The birthday was good :)
