Is this how you chose your LJ name, Ms de_lune? I've always wondered. What made you change from the name (I won't mention it here) we altered at pb_recs that time?

This is exactly how I chose it. Especially the part about forgetfulness. And hyenas, of course. *g*

[In case it was a real question: my previous username had my actual first name in it and I didn't want to see it wandering around anymore. Clair de lune (= moon light) sounded pretty and since I tended to write a lot 'after dark', it was fitting.]

*lol* Interesting! Which of your concoctions do you like best? Something that includes hyenas and cupcakes must contain some rivalry naturally. A dash of Batman can always come in handy, as well as some brain - *ggg* I read 'dancing brain' first, what an image!

Well, I'm doing this too! *clickety-click*

"Amodalie is made of Indie, pencils, and clouds. With a dash of the West."
"amodalie is made of Rock, jade, and everything nice. With a dash of Apocalypse."

O-kay...

I'm not sure any of them fits *g* Except maybe foreveralone given I'm not the most sociable person. That said, I'll take koalas over hyenas any day!

Yours aren't too bad... until they mention the Apocalypse ;)

*lol* Perhaps the Apocalypse is a good counterweight to "everything nice", so...

Fitting or not, isn't it funny how these simple random "tests" can fuel the imagination! :))

Cute koalas FTW!!! *hands over yummy eucalyptus*

Indie what, though?

I got something like that for "Venus", where the description included an adjective instead of a noun. Their parser isn't very good.

With a dash of Apocalypse.
Hrm. I consider the Apocalypse pretty much an all-or-nothing idea. Once you've reached it, there's no going back, and you can't sprinkle it on like a condiment.

I gave this a try, and it could not have been more wrong!

HalfshellVenus is made of Romance, books, and lies. With a dash of the 90s.

Actually, so long as you don't read it as "Romance books", maybe it isn't that wrong.

Karen is made of sammiches, New Age, and leftovers. With a dash of Dreamworks.

Okay, THAT ^^ was the one that was really wrong. New Age? A baby-talk word like sammich? Hell no!

I'm not sure how hyenas and cupcakes can both be ingredients in the same thing, ever, for yours. I thought at first the dash of AMERICA was wrong (well, the caps certainly are), but then realized that since you write a lot of fanfiction for U.S. shows, that does perhaps constitute a "dash".

:D

Oh, I see from amodalie's note that it considers capital letters in the result:

halfshellvenus is made of Adventure, gold, and rivalry. With a dash of Holmes.

Now, why Adventure is capitalized, I can't say. Maybe I'm made of a meta-concept!

Putting in "karen" with no caps resulted in something awful involved spinach, frowns, and a dash of the '70s. It must really hate that name...

I hadn't thought of that, but it makes sense.
The cupcakes and hyenas mix is... peculiar. And since I don't like cupcakes, or cake with too much filling/topping, I guess it's mostly hyenas. Eeek.

HalfshellVenus is made of Romance, books, and lies. With a dash of the 90s.
This one doesn't sound too bad. 'Lies' isn't flatering, but to some extent, one might assimilate it to story-telling ;)

That was my thought. Really, fiction is all lies to a certain extent, so that component seems not entirely incorrect. :)
