Please explain to me why, nine out of ten times, when I write a Michael/Sara/Lincoln fic, it's actually Sara/Lincoln with a dash of Michael thrown in just so that the poor boy doesn't feel left out? I tried to fix it in the Blue Moon fics, but I'm not editing forever the tiny one I'm writing for rounds_of_kink. It will go live as it is :-p

I'll tell you why. It's because we've SEEN Sara/Michael and they're so sweet and adorable together, so in fanfic they're often portrayed that way. We've never seen Sara/Linc before, but we universally imagine them as being FUCKING HOT. So...yeah. That's why. Because DAMN. (and by that, I mean that we'd rather imagine the hotness than the sweetness in fanfic, and so it naturally gravitates towards Linc instead of Michael. Michael = sweet/innocent, Linc = dangerous/sexy. That is all)

Isn't it a bit creepy that I picked this image for my slashy M/L? I wanted a hug and never managed to get something satisfying from the screencaps of the Riots episode. I guess that at least, this one does convey the angsty aspect of Michael/Lincoln ^_^
