This arrived this morning in my mail box. I hadn't bought a Star Trek novelization since... Star Trek V I think. Since I was at it, I bought that too. I already had the Star Trek II and Star Trek III novels, but only in French, and Spock and the Whales ST IV: The Voyage Home was missing in my collection anyway

I'm tempted to get that one too. I guess I'm fangirling that movie much more than i realized, I usually don't do tie-ins at all.

I rarely read them either, Star Trek being the exception. Actually, I read Star Trek I and Star Trek II before I saw the movies. The show had never been really on TV before the 80s here - and even though, it was TOS - and when I found the books, I didn't even know there had been movies. I probably squeed quite a bit.
Not to mention that the first three novelizations had a lot of stuff and details that didn't make it to the movies.

Oui, c'est ça, une petite crise ! ^^ (Je suis contente d'être rentrée en Belgique, du coup: je vais pouvoir piquer les livres et DVD de mon père.) J'en ai tout le temps, de ces crises, pour plein de trucs. En fait, je ne peux pas vivre sans fangirliser sur quelque chose. lol
