I can't help but feel a sense of impending doom at the words "given the season I am sure you'll find it very enjoyable." One can almost hear a cackle accompanying it.

I suppose even some misadventure would be better than the recent string of madness. If any of you dared to hurt Martha Jones I'm not sure that I would have been able to overlook it. ( Read more... )

Sometimes I feel as though he enjoys "jerking our chains," as they say.

I assume he means Valentine's Day, it's a rather commercial celebration where I come from. It is focused around couples, usually by giving your significant other or current interest chocolate or roses. Love, in simple terms.

... As you can see it makes his words all the more troubling.
